An AI voice assistant answers inbound calls in natural speech, handles routine requests, takes a message or a booking and passes the details to your staff. It is also searched for as an AI voice agent or an AI call center front line. This service covers inbound calls only.

For lines that ring when nobody is free to pick up

The caller hears the assistant state that it is automated, say what it can help with, and ask how it can help. Routine calls are completed on the call. Everything else is passed to your team with a summary.

  • Clinics and service businesses with a ringing front desk
  • Teams that return missed calls by hand
  • Businesses with a hotline outside office hours

Inbound only, by design

This service answers calls that people place to you. Calling people who have not asked to be called raises consent questions under Philippine rules, so outbound dialing is not part of the offer.

If calls are recorded, callers are told at the start, and the recording notice wording is agreed with you and checked against the Data Privacy Act of 2012 before launch.

Voice quality and language

English works best. Filipino, Taglish and regional accents are recognised less accurately than English, so names, addresses and numbers are read back to the caller. Before going live we test with recorded calls from your own line, in the way your callers actually speak.

Callers can interrupt, and there is a short pause before each reply, so scripts are kept brief. For chat channels instead of calls, see the AI receptionist.

What the voice assistant does not do

It does not give medical, legal or financial advice and does not handle emergencies. For clinics, it says so and transfers the call. Symptom and treatment questions go to staff.

What we need from you and what we handle

We need from you

  • The phone number and the ability to forward it, or a carrier that supports a connection
  • Call scripts or the questions callers ask most
  • Transfer rules: which topics, which staff numbers
  • Recording consent wording
  • A person who reads the summaries and calls back

We handle

  • Voice platform and telephony setup
  • Writing and testing the call flow in English and Taglish
  • Calendar or CRM connection
  • Transfer rules and call summaries
  • Testing on recorded calls before launch

What a first project includes and what it leaves out

Included

  • One inbound line
  • One language set: English, with Taglish tolerance
  • Call summaries to staff
  • Call transfer to a person
  • A log of calls

Left out

  • Outbound calling campaigns
  • Replacing a full call center queue
  • Connecting to a PBX that cannot forward calls

Limits we state plainly

  • Philippine phone numbers are not offered natively by every voice platform. A local SIP trunk or call forwarding from your carrier is usually needed, and this is confirmed per carrier before a build.
  • Speech recognition of Filipino, Taglish and regional accents is less accurate than English.
  • Call recording needs a notice and a lawful basis under the Data Privacy Act.
  • Voice platform and telephony fees are billed by the providers, separately from the build.

Tools and channels involved

A voice platform such as Vapi or Retell AI, a speech voice, a telephony provider such as Twilio or a SIP trunk from your carrier, an AI model, n8n, and your calendar or CRM. The exact set is named in the scope.

What it costs

Cost depends on the call volume and what the assistant connects to.

Questions we get asked

What kinds of calls can an AI voice assistant complete without staff?

Routine ones: opening hours, location, service requirements, and taking a message or booking request. Anything outside the topics you approve is passed to a person.

How does a caller reach a person?

By asking. The assistant transfers the call to the staff number you set, and also transfers for the topics you list, such as complaints or emergencies.

Does it work with our existing landline or mobile number?

Usually through call forwarding from your carrier or a SIP trunk. Whether your carrier supports this is confirmed before the build.

Are calls recorded, and how are callers told?

Recording is optional. If it is on, the assistant tells the caller at the start, using wording agreed with you.

How does it handle Taglish?

It can follow Taglish, with less accuracy than English. Names, numbers and addresses are read back to the caller, and we test on recorded calls from your line before launch.

Can it act as the front line of a small call center?

It can take the first contact and route calls to your team. It does not replace a staffed queue.
